It’s pretty easy to read Trippple Nippples described as “super weird!” or “crazy!”, which is unfortunate, because they’re the most natural thing in the world. TN represent the world’s collective repressed emotions. TN are the universal cure to ennui. I know we all have a peice of our heart that looks like TN, and to embrace that is to embark on the path of pure love.
TN are both pure energy and proof that substance and matter is energy in vibration. TN are very emotional. TN know sadness but that isn’t the point. TN may let you into their world first with a sight of pure heartbreak (cf. “somewhere deep down in my heart…”) but only to point you towards elation. TN will take care of you. TN will make sure you are warm and fed, emotionally and physically. Studio recordings of TN don’t actually exist, because that concept is impossible, like trying to bottle lightning. If you truly attend a TN show you can never really stop, because even after the bodies and costumes collect themselves and walk off stage, under the sweat and the strawberry pulp there’s a peice of TN that will never come off.
I am convinced that the twinkling guitar of L.S.D. channels a higher power. I will always whistle the melody quietly to myself.
I am so grateful to have been able to catch Trippple Nippples both nights they were around. Elliott and the gang are on their way to boundless success. I wish them the best of luck even though I know they don’t need it. They are outlandishly inspirational — sonically, visually, emotionally, and philosophically.
Thank you so much!
